THE ROLE: SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

RESPONSIBILITIES;
The Senior Development Officer plays a crucial role in implementing
the housing development strategy.
HERE ARE THE KEY TASKS:
PROJECT AND TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT:
* Support the Head of Development and Senior Management Team.
* Liaise with Local Authority personnel, developers, estate agents,
designers, and cost consultants.
* Assess housing development options and feasibility
SITE IDENTIFICATION AND ACQUISITION
* Identify potential development sites.
* Prepare economic appraisals for review.
* Stay informed about property costs, availability, and market
trends.
DUE DILIGENCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
* Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and new developments.
* Represent the company in meetings with housing providers and
contractors.
* Lead on acquisition, leasing, and turnkey schemes.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:
* Ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements.
* Develop business cases for management and board consideration.
* Monitor project budgets and expenditures.

relationships with Saint John of God Community Services, Local
Authorities and the Department of Housing.

intellectual disability and mental ill health.
